With Christmas fast approaching, there are so many ways to add to the festive feel thanks to the Football in the Community Scheme.

Whatever you are doing this Christmas, don't miss out on a Football in the Community Fun Day. The Football fun days are taking place in Cambridge (December 23rd), Soham (December 22nd), Sawston (December 22nd), Swavesey (December 23rd), Bottisham (December 23rd), Linton (January 5th) and Comberton (January 5th).

All courses run for one day and consist of small-sided games and fun skills tests. The whole day is geared towards fun, so regardless of gender, age or ability, you are very welcome.

Fun On A One-Day Course

The first team game versus Darlington on December 13th is the Christmas Match Day Experience, and you can be part of that for just £15. You will then receive a morning of football coaching before settling down to watch the U's in action, and you will even be given the chance to win a place on the pitch at half time.

Again, just phone 01223 416238 to book a place, and any of the Community Staff will be able to help you.  Please note there are limited places available, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Be a part of the team on match day, get behind the scenes with your group or organisation, and see life at a professional Football Club from the inside! You can do all of this if your team, group or organisation signs up for a match day visit.

You will be treated to a tour of the Abbey Stadium and changing rooms, a coaching session, and a ticket to watch the game. At fantastic prices, it is a great day out for parents and children, regardless of age or ability.

Want to play in Euro 2004? Now you can!  Cambridge United Football in the Community Scheme is hosting our very own tournament for the Under 11 and Under 12 age group, in the summer. You can enter at a cost of just £15 per team.

The small-sided tournament will take place at the Abbey Astro, and each team will enter a draw to be given a national side. The tournament will take place over two evenings, and the winning team will be presented their prize on the Abbey Stadium at the beginning of the following season.
