This past week has seen the coaches working hard and enjoying a fun packed October Half Term. Our courses at Soham, Fulbourn, Sawston, Coldhams Common and Swavesey were all a hive of activity with over 135 children attending these courses.
If you attended any of these courses or are interested in attending a course at Christmas please be aware that application forms will be in circulation from next week. The Courses over the festive period will signal a change in the format of our holiday courses with more new and exciting games, Adidas skills challenge, an opportunity to dribble round world stars such as David Beckham and Alessandro Del Piero, and a chance to watch Cambridge United play on Saturday 21st December.
PARENTS AND KIDS CHALLENGE DAY - WHO WILL WIN?
Saturday 21st December will be a fun packed Family Day with all you parents being given the opportunity to test your skills against other mums and dads oh and a little challenge of actually showing your children how good you really are! After all those years of 'when I was a young lad/lady I was a great player' we are giving you the chance to prove it.
The day will be open to parents and kids and will involve a group tour of the ground, separate coaching for parents and adults, and possibly a mixed world cup style tournament at the end of the session. The day will begin at 10am with a tour of the ground with the coaching session taking place on Coldhams Common at around 11am. Lunch will be taken at around 1pm, with all participants taking their seats at about 2.15pm to watch the U's play Bristol Rovers.
THE TUDOR, RIZA, MARSHALL TRIPLE CHALLENGE!There are other courses taking place over the festive period, on Monday 23rd December there will be coaching courses at Sawston from 10 - 3pm, at Swavesey Village College from 10-3pm and at Hills Road from 10-1pm.
There will also be a Skills day on January 3rd at Coldhams Common. This will be a day with a difference, with all participants being given the chance to take part in the Shane Tudor Adidas shooting challenge, the Shaun Marshall Goal Keeping Challenge, and the Omar Riza Adidas dribbling challenge. If you are interested in any of these activities call now or return your forms as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The annual 6-a-side Competition for schools' Under 11 teams organised by Football in the Community Sponsored by Railtrack and supported by Sportsmatch, the Government's Business Sponsorship Incentive Scheme and is now underway across the country.
Last year's winners Farnborough Road Junior School who represented Everton, will no doubt be hoping to retain the trophy. If you would like your school to take part and enjoy this opportunity to compete against other schools, make friends and quite simply have fun please take note of the venues, dates and times listed below. If your school has not yet booked a place in this exclusive national tournament call us immediately to book a place.
