FOOTBALL IN THE COMMUNITY

Over the past two seasons Football in the Community has continued to grow in popularity. Whilst the school holiday football fun days have proved as successful as ever, the Scheme have begun working with a number of Community Partners and minority groups.

Over the past twelve months, we have worked with a number of disability groups, and refugee and homeless organisations. We endeavour to continue our involvement with the minority groups in partnership with the County Council, City Council and Cambridgeshire Football Association.

The Cambridge United Community Scheme continues to grow in popularity. Our extensive activity programme, increasing all the time, enables us to cater for all social groups, regardless of age, ethnic origin or disability, and in our 11th year has progressed again to enable us to offer our services all over.

WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?

Cambridge United offers a number of packages in which we aim to encourage everyone to get involved in the sport and with the Football Club.

We offer support in P.E lessons at schools, In School Coaching, Colts League Team Training, After School coaching, Lunch Time Coaching, Sponsored Penalty Shoot-outs, help at school fetes, In-Service Fun-Days, Ticket Promotions, Match Day Visits, Birthday Parties, Educational Packages, and School Tournaments.

We can also help Colts Teams and Schools become Charter Standard in association with the Football Association.

Our half term holiday courses always prove extremely popular during October, Christmas, February, Easter, May, and the Summer. Whether it is a one day, or week-long course, our courses are filled with fun exciting games with competitions and prizes. Children also get the chance to meet their favourite Cambridge United players and play football all day every day in a safe, friendly and pressure free environment.
