The CRC Experience

Posted on: Wed 04 Aug 2010

CRC open their 2010/2011 Ridgeons Premier Division campaign at home to Woodbridge Town at 3pm this Saturday.

As the first team travel to Bishops Stortford in the last pre-season friendly, Jez George's scholars will begin their new season at the R Costings Abbey Stadium. The Development Squad has produced a string of players who have become first team players, such as Adam Marriott, Sam Ives, Josh Coulson, Rory McAuley and Robbie Willmott. Jonathan Thorpe is the latest face to feature as part of the first team during pre-season.

CRC are continuing to develop young players to progress into professional careers in the game, despite receiving no funding from the relevant authorities. A system with such a successful history in producing players needs the support it deserves.

The team play at home most Saturdays when the U's are away, plus Wednesday evenings throughout the season. With ticket prices just £5 for adults and £2 for concessions it is an affordable and entertaining way to see the future of Cambridge United. CRC matchdays also offer free parking plus access to the bar prior to kick off, at half time and post match.

As a special offer to existing first team season ticket holders, season tickets for CRC matches are £40 for adults and £20 for under 16s. Supporters who are not season ticket holders for the first team are able to purchase a CRC season ticket at £80 for adults and £35 for under 16's. Application forms can be download from the following link: CRC Season Ticket Application 2010/2011

Please come along and support the future of Cambridge United.
