Cambridge United's Youth Development Department are holding trials for boys in various age groups for the 2009/10 season.

We pride ourselves on recruiting the best young footballers in the area to help them with their development from an early age.

If you were offered a place in this scheme, it would involve weekly training sessions, tournaments in school holidays and some matches. Most importantly, it allows you to still play for your Mini League Club. There may also be the opportunity of trials for our Centre of Excellence.

The trials take place at Development Centres throughout the local area and full details of the remaining trials are below.

Cambridge Development Centre
Wednesday 3rd June 2009 - Coldham's Common
4.30pm - 5.30pm for children who will be U7 & U8 for the 2009/10 season.
(current school years 1 & 2)
5.30pm - 6.30pm for children who will be U9 & U10 for the 2009/10 season.
(current school years 3 & 4)
6.30pm - 7.30pm for children who will be U11 & U12 for the 2009/10 season.

Harlow Development Centre
Friday 5th June 2009 - Passmores School
5.00pm - 6.00pm for children who will be U7, & U8 for the 2009/10 season.
( current school years 1, & 2)
6.00pm - 7.00pm for children who will be U9 & U10 for the 2009/10 season.
(current school years 3 & 4)
7.00pm - 8.00pm for children who will be U11 & U12 for the 2009/10 season.

What you need: Moulded Boots or trainers, shin pads, water bottle, suitable clothing

These trials are for boys only, but if you are interested in girls' trials please call Franco Nacca at the Girls Centre of Excellence on 01223 416238.

Confirmation of your place on the trial will not be sent. You will ONLY be contacted if you are too late and we are at maximum capacity.
