Cambridge United Youth Development are holding trials for the forthcoming 2009/2010 season. The trials are for players in the U13 to U16 age groups for the forthcoming season.
If successful at the trials players would be offered a place in either:
Centre of Excellence Squads - players sign solely for Cambridge United, train twice a week and play in our Centre of Excellence games programme against other professional football clubs, or
Age Group Development Squads - players remain with their Colts club team, train with Cambridge United once a week and play in school holiday fixtures against similar schemes of professional football clubs
In previous years a number of boys have been successful in gaining a place in these squads after attending our open trials.
Venue: Linton Village College, Cambridge Road, Cambridge, CB21 4JB
Date: Sunday 21st June 2009
Times:
10am-12pm for boys who will be U13 & U14 for the 2009/10 season.
(Current school years 7 & 8)
1pm - 3pm for boys who will be U15 & U16 for the 2009/10 season.
(Current school years 9 & 10)
What you need: Moulded boots/trainers, shin pads, water bottle, suitable clothing
The trial is for boys only, but if you are interested in girls trials then please call Franco Nacca on 01223 416238.
Confirmation of your place on this trial will not be sent. You will ONLY be contacted if you are too late and we are at maximum capacity.
