Cambridge United are holding open trials for next season's Under 12s, 13s, 14s and 15s.

If you were offered a place in our Development Squads, it would involve a weekly training session and matches against other professional clubs in school holidays. Most importantly, it allows you to still play and train with your Colts League Club.

A place in our Centre of Excellence means training twice weekly and playing solely for Cambridge United in our Centre of Excellence games programme. Current first team players Josh Coulson and Robbie Willmott were both signed from Colts League Clubs and gained a Scholarship at Cambridge United.

Details for the trials are as follows:

Venue: Linton Village College (3G Astro), Cambridge Road, Linton, CB21 4JB

Dates: Saturday 28th June (Under 12's & 13's) or Sunday 29th June (Under 14's & 15's)

Times:
12am - 3pm for Under 12's & 13's
10am - 1pm for Under 14's & 15's

What you need: Moulded boots/Astroturf trainers, shin pads, water bottle, suitable clothing.

There are limited spaces available, so please make sure that you complete and return the reply slip below to Julie Ankers, CUFC Youth Development, Trade Recruitment Stadium, Newmarket Road, Cambridge, CB5 8LN as soon as possible.

Although there is no charge for this trial, you will NOT be able to just turn up and play on the day. Please ring 01223 729204 or e-mail youth.development@cambridge-united.co.uk with any queries. Parents are asked to drop off and collect at the times listed above and should NOT stay to watch.
