How It Works

Cambridge United FC Scholars
16-18 year olds
(approx. 10 places per year)
CRC Team (Ridgeons League)
A two-year full time programme,
including a college course, aiming to
earn a professional contract with CUFC
Youth Team Coach - Nolan Keeley


Cambridge United FC Centre of Excellence
U9 - U16 (approx. 100 players)
Train two or three times a week
Fixtures programme against other professional clubs
Ultimately trying to earn a scholarship at CUFC
COE Manager - Matt Walker


Cambridge United Youth Development Squads
U7 - U15 (approx. 200 players)
North and South
Train once a week
Play against other professional clubs during school holidays
Trying to gain a place in CUFC Centre of Excellence

U7 - U12 (approx. 1000 players in 22 Centres)
Train once a week at their Development Centre
Play in In-House Events during school holidays
Trying to gain a place within the Development Squad and then our COE

Cambridge United Youth Development Mini Kickers Clubs (MKC)
4 - 6 year olds (Ely, Comberton, Abbey Pool - Cambridge, Godmanchester, Linton)
Both boys and girls of all abilities can attend one of our courses around the region on
Saturday mornings. Fun story based games and technique practices with any promising players invited for trials in our U7/U8 groups in our Development Centres
