Welcome to this afternoon's Blue Square Premier match at the Trade Recruitment Stadium. Today's visitors are Forest Green Rovers whose players, supporters and officials have made the trip from the West Country.

Forest Green were United's opponents in our first ever game in the Conference League in August 2005 following relegation. It was a huge culture shock for the U's but we were grateful to still have a club following our period in administration. The only goal that day was scored for Rovers by a young loanee called Scott Rendell.

Our good form has continued with the team remaining unbeaten through both February and March. Gary Brabin and the players deserve full credit for putting together a great winning run.

This was maintained with recent hard fought victories at Barrow and Woking. Your support at both midweek games was most appreciated by the Club. I know many people had to organise time off work and at no little cost made the trip to Cumbria.

The latter game kicked off half an hour later than scheduled due to electrical problems encountered by the Kingfield Stadium. The good sense of both Cambridge United and Woking officials ensured the game was played. This was despite only minimal electricity being used to light the pitch and some of the ground's facilities.

Cambridge United have announced an amazing early purchase deal on Season Tickets for next season. I believe these offer unbeatable value for everyone to attend home matches at this stadium next season. Whether you are an existing ticket holder or intend coming to games next season, this deal is a must for you.

Tickets purchased before 24th April offer a saving, for example, of £100 for those in the Main Stand. In addition tickets for Under 16s are priced as low as £50 for the Main Stand and £35 for terraced areas. An adult purchasing a ticket may also buy one for an Under 10 priced as age, i.e. £9 for a nine year old. Yes £9 for the whole season.

After this deadline, there is a small increase but still a substantial discount on this season. Those bought after 17th May will revert to this season's prices. It is a fantastic opportunity for fans to benefit financially from their support, plus help the club plan and budget for next season.

Remember, Season Ticket holders have priority to tickets where there is a restriction, i.e. all ticket away games and Cup games. This is in addition to guaranteed entrance to home league games.

In appreciation of the challenges being faced by fans during the present economic climate, the Board have looked at further ways to help encourage Season Ticket purchase. To assist you, there is the offer for payment in two tiers with 50% payment on application and the balance payable before 31st July 2009.

New pros Adam Marriott, Jordan Patrick and Sam Ives

I would like to offer congratulations to Adam Marriot, Sam Ives and Jordan Patrick on earning professional contracts with the Club. These gifted young players have progressed superbly through our Youth set-up and they will be given the opportunity to develop further by following a structure that includes being part of the first team squad as well as still being available to play football for CRC.

Their personal development needs and continued coaching will be a priority to aim for the highest possible benefit from their talents. The parents of all three boys are guests of the Board of Directors at today's game.

Our guests today include the Mayor of Cambridge Councillor Mike Dixon and his Sargeant-at-Mace. In addition I would like welcome and thank Nick and Carole Hood from Oakpark Security for their assistance in providing and fitting burglar alarms in the Youth team accommodation.

Enjoy the game, get behind the team and let's hope we can take another three points into Tuesday's derby game at Stevenage.
