THE AWAY TRAVEL CLUB

Posted on: Sat 11 Apr 2009

Want to follow United on their travels this season? Whether you want to go to all the away games or just the occasional one, the best way is to travel with the Away Travel Club.

Coaches go to every match with pick-up points at both Ely (Barton Road coach park) and the Abbey Stadium. The luxury coaches include air-conditioning, video facilities and friendly stewarding to help you enjoy the journey. No need to worry about directions or finding a parking space as you are delivered in style to the ground.

You don't have to be a member to travel, but for just £10 you can become a member for the season and save £2 on the cost of each trip as well as guaranteeing your seat. Either way, you are strongly advised to book with plenty of notice and pay before the day.

Non-members are always made welcome and children travelling on their own are looked after by Carol Looker and Liz Nash.

The Away travel also raises funds for the club and Youth Development by holding raffles, golden goals and bingo etc on the coach. They also hold race nights during the season.

Drinks, chocolates and crisps are sold on the coach.

This season the Away Travel Club are sponsoring Josh Coulson and Robbie Willmott.

For more details ring the club on 01223 566500 or Carol Looker on 0774 982 9883
