U's announce shirt sponsorship extension with Mick George Ltd.
CAMBRIDGE United Football Club are delighted to announce that Mick George Ltd. will become the sole official playing kit sponsor for the Club for the next three seasons until July 2018.
From the beginning of the 2015/16 season all United players, within the first team and across all squads from Under 9’s through to Under 21’s, will be wearing the Mick George logo on their home, away and third shirts.
Mick George first became the U’s home shirt sponsors in 2013, and together with Cambridge United have forged a superb relationship, with representatives of the company present at every U’s home game along with the introduction of the centre-circle banner and the London Cheerleaders. The Club have also been pleased to welcome Mick George Ltd. to the R Costings Abbey Stadium as match sponsors a number of times this season, including the FA Cup fourth round fixture with Manchester United.

This new sponsorship deal will see the Mick George logo now feature on all players’ shirts from the First Team right down to the Under 9’s in our academy. Their support for Cambridge United over the years has extended beyond the financial sponsorship of our kit, as they share the same belief that it is vital to help the communities we work in and find ways to be involved in any way they can, actively supporting the work of our Cambridge United Community Trust.“
