As the U’s prepare to take on high flying Portsmouth, the U’s midfielder has signed 30 copies of this afternoon’s programme, which have been distributed randomly around the Abbey Stadium, so make sure you pick up a copy to be in with a chance of winning one.

Meanwhile Berry discusses his return to the Abbey, recent form and the Amber Army in this week’s feature, read a sneak peak below:

The 23-year old has been asked to show his experience by Richard Money in playing a slightly deeper role in midfield than perhaps Berry is known for.

Typically though the academy graduate has taken to the task with his infectious enthusiasm, and states he is willing to do whatever is right for the team.

“I honestly don’t mind wherever I play, I just like to play in central midfield.

“It’s great because I love to get on the ball but I’m also learning plenty of thing in that position as well so more than anything I’m grateful to be given the opportunity to play there.

Having spent a season away from the Abbey Stadium during the 2014/15 season, Berry admits he’s enjoyed all aspects of being back with the U’s but none more so than the overwhelming support he’s received from the Amber Army since his return.

“I love playing in front of the Cambridge United fans, and they have been fantastic both with me and the team as whole at home and away.

“It has been a bit tricky with the injuries at the start of the season but the crowd has been great throughout, and we want to pick more points now and show what we are all about.”
