Accrington Stanley v Plymouth Argyle
Plymouth are 7/5 favourites with the Sky Bet Football League sponsor ahead of their trip to Accrington on Saturday. Argyle got their campaign back on the right track with a 2-0 home win over Hartlepool last weekend and are 10/1 to repeat that scoreline at the Crown Ground. Accrington can be backed at 19/10 to claim all three points, with the draw 23/10. John O’Sullivan scored a brace in the Reds’ incredible 5-4 victory at Northampton Town last Saturday and is priced at 11/4 to find the net at any time here.

Burton Albion v Cheltenham Town
Burton are even-money favourites heading into their Sky Bet League 2 clash with Cheltenham (14/5) at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday. The draw is priced at 23/10, with 1-1 the most popular correct score at 9/2. Burton made an extremely positive start to the season but their league form has been hit by back-to-back away defeats at AFC Wimbledon and Bury. Gary Rowett’s men are 11/4 to win by exactly one goal here, a bet which would have been successful in five of their nine games so far. Cheltenham have found goals hard to come by since their 3-2 away win at Tranmere last month and are 6/4 to draw a blank.

Carlisle United v Tranmere Rovers
Carlisle and Tranmere are both priced at 13/8 with Football League sponsor Sky Bet going into their Saturday clash at Brunton Park. The draw can be backed at 23/10, with 1-1 the most popular correct score at 9/2. Carlisle are still searching for their first win of the season, while Rovers are a 100/30 chance to be leading at half-time and full-time. Tranmere’s Abdulai Bell-Baggie and Carlisle’s Kyle Dempsey have three goals each in League 2 this term and can be backed at 11/4 and 7/4 respectively to score at any time in the match.

Dagenham & Redbridge v York City
York have endured a testing start to their Sky Bet League 2 campaign but they are 5/4 favourites to pick up their second win of the season when they visit Dagenham & Redbridge (21/10) on Saturday. However, the Football League sponsor rate a 1-1 draw the most likely outcome in the correct-score market at 9/2, with a repeat of their last meeting at Victoria Road, a 2-0 victory for the Daggers, at 14/1. Goals are expected in this encounter with two goals or more priced at 1/3 and no goals to be scored at 17/2. York head into the match on the back of a 3-2 home defeat to Southend, while Dagenham drew 1-1 at Cheltenham last weekend and both teams to score is an 8/11 chance. York’s Wes Fletcher is 11/2 favourite to score the first of the game, with Jamie Cureton 6/1 for the home side in the same market.

Exeter City v Bury
Sky Bet League 2 leaders Bury are 23/20 favourites with the Football League sponsor ahead of their weekend trip to Exeter (12/5). However, the 1-1 draw is the most popular correct score at 9/2, with a repeat of last year’s corresponding fixture, which ended 2-2, priced at 12/1. Both teams have scored in all four of Exeter’s home league games so far this season and that can be backed at 4/5 in this match. Bury’s Danny Rose is one of the league league’s leading goalscorers and he is 9/2 to net the first goal of the game and 5/4 to score any time. Bury’s only defeat was a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Cheltenham Town and Exeter can be backed at 7/2 to win by exactly one goal.

Hartlepool United v Portsmouth
Portsmouth are 5/4 favourites as they go into Saturday’s Sky Bet League 2 clash with Hartlepool, with a home win and the draw both priced at 11/5. Pompey are on a run of four straight league wins, the last three of which have all been without reply, and Andy Awford’s men are 11/4 to win to nil again here. Hartlepool find themselves in the relegation zone at this early stage, with just two wins from nine games so far and are 7/2 to win by exactly one goal. United’s Charlie Wyke has three league goals to his name and is 13/2 to score the opening goal of the game, a market headed by Portsmouth’s Craig Westcarr.

Luton Town v Oxford United
Oxford are starting to turn things around since losing their opening four games of the season in Sky Bet League 2. The U’s are now unbeaten in five league games, winning one and drawing four of the contests, but face a tough task to continue that run at Luton. The Hatters have two wins and a draw from their last three matches and start on Saturday as 6/5 favourites for victory. Oxford are 11/5 to win and the draw can be backed at the same price. There have only been three goals in the last four Luton matches and Oxford’s last outing ended in a 0-0 draw. Don’t necessarily expect too much action at Kenilworth Road.

Morecambe v Northampton Town
It has been an interesting couple of games for Northampton fans. The Cobblers followed up a 5-1 win over Hartlepool with a remarkable 5-4 defeat at home to Accrington last weekend. Chris Wilder’s men have been priced up as marginal favourites at 6/4 to bounce back with victory at Morecambe, who are 13/8 to win. The draw is available at 21/10. Going for goals is the way to go at the Globe Arena. You have to take note of the 20 goals in Northampton’s last three matches so have a look at over 4.5 goals at 11/2.

Newport County v AFC Wimbledon
Back-to-back wins at home have boosted AFC Wimbledon’s morale and now they look for another three points from the trip to Newport. The Dons are the outsiders at 13/5 to pick up the win against even-money favourites Newport and the draw can be supported at 23/10. Newport’s last two Sky Bet League 2 matches have ended in 0-0 draws so more will be needed from County in the final third.

Southend United v Shrewsbury Town
Shrewsbury enter this match on a high after reaching the fourth round of the Capital One Cup with a 1-0 victory at home to Sky Bet Championship heavyweights Norwich in midweek. The Shrews, however, are outsiders at 19/10 to win at Southend, who have been made 11/8 favourites by Sky Bet. The draw is available at 2/1. Shrewsbury’s last three away games have resulted in defeats to nil so they will have something to prove at Roots Hall. Southend have won three games on the spin and a stat to take note of is that the Shrimpers have scored first in all five of their previous contests.

Stevenage v Mansfield Town
Stevenage are the 13/10 favourites for victory at home to Mansfield on Saturday. The visiting Stags can be backed at 15/8 and the draw has been priced up at 23/10. Stevenage aren’t in the best of form with only one win in their last five games and Mansfield travel south in better spirits with three victories from their previous four contests. There has only been one goal netted in four of Stevenage’s six home games so far this season so backing exactly one goal to be scored at 100/30 is worth an interest.

Wycombe Wanderers v Cambridge United
Wycombe have enjoyed their season to date as they sit third in the Sky Bet League 2 standings. The Chairboys are 21/20 favourites to pick up three points at home to Cambridge, who are the outsiders for victory at 12/5. The draw is on offer at 23/10. Wycombe are unbeaten in their last six league matches but Cambridge are a side to watch on the road with no defeat in their previous three away games in the league. The scores have been level at half-time in five of Wycombe’s last six contests and Cambridge have been level at the break in four of their previous five matches. The even-money for the draw at half-time could be worth a look.
