UPDATE FROM THE U'S OUT ON LOAN

CHECK OUT HOW THE U’S CURRENTLY ON LOAN PERFORMED LAST WEEKEND AND WHO THEY ARE SET TO FACE THIS WEEK.

KEITH KEANE

Keith Keane looked to have secured Stevenage a point in last weekend’s Sky Bet League Two tussle with York City at Bootham Crescent, when the midfielder rifled home a thirty yard right footed strike to level the game at 1-1 on 78 minutes.

However, he was unable to stop Danny Galbraith registering late for the Minstermen, and the result proved to be the last for Teddy Sheringham’s tenure in charge of the Boro. Keane though, continues to make progress, having now appeared three times as his fitness levels continue to rise.

He’ll be looking to make appearance number four this weekend against Crawley Town at the Lamex Stadium.

JEFF HUGHES

Jeff Hughes missed out on Tranmere’s 2-1 win over Torquay United at Prenton Park last weekend, having picked up an injury in the lead up to the match.

The Northern-Irishman has made a significant impact for the National League outfit since joining former Cambridge United Manager Gary Brabin’s side on loan until the end of the season.

Hughes recently registered a stoppage time goal against Barrow, in a remarkable fixture that saw Rovers overturn a 3-1 losing score line to win 4-3 in the final five minutes of the game.

He could be in line to return to action this weekend against Southport.

MATT LOWE

Midfielder Matt Lowe featured for the full 90 minutes for National League North side Brackley Town, as they were beaten 1-0 by Solihull Moors.

Lowe is on loan with the Saints for the remainder of the 2015/16 season, and is set to face Tamworth on Saturday.

DANNY BURNS

Danny Burns was unable keep Stalybridge Celtic at bay as part of a Lowestoft Town defence which fell to a 2-0 defeat at Crown Meadow last Saturday.

Burns is also on loan for the remainder of the campaign, and will be aiming to help the Trawler Boys crawl away from danger in National League North today against Harrogate Town this weekend.
