SPONSORS LINE-UP FOR LEEDS UNITED

Ahead of Monday’s Emirates FA Cup clash against Leeds United, Cambridge United are delighted to announce a stellar sponsorship line-up for the evening at the Cambs Glass Stadium.

Elms Cambridge BMW are confirmed as the headline sponsors of the match, with Fujitsu taking up the option of Match Ball sponsor and Acorn Labels sponsoring the Programme.

Speaking ahead of the tie with Leeds, Commercial Manager Sam Jeffery commented: “We’re delighted to have companies of the ilk of Elms Cambridge BMW and Fujitsu on board for what will be a massive match.

“Mike, Steph and the team at Elms provide us brilliant support in their sponsorship of our Community Football Programme, but nights like Monday also provide the opportunity for them, and our other sponsors, to showcase their brand to a global audience.

“It’s also great to continue the growing relationship with Fujitsu, a company that has long been associated with our Club, and Acorn Labels, who recently sponsored our match with Crewe.”

Mike Toombs, Elms Cambridge BMW Head of Business, commented: “Elms Cambridge BMW are delighted to be official match sponsors for the FA Cup match against Leeds United. As our second match sponsorship we continue to strengthen our relationship with Cambridge United football club and our sponsorship of the excellent Community Football Programme.

As the local BMW Retailer, Elms Cambridge are proud to support the development of young talent in our local community, driving forward the Elms BMW Soccer Schools and open access football programmes across Cambridgeshire.”

Fujitsu’s Stuart Eagleton emphasised his delight: “Fujitsu Air Conditioning are proud to continue their ongoing support of Cambridge United in their FA Cup tie against Leeds.

“The FA Cup brings back some happy memories of Cambridge’s historic FA Cup quarter final appearances in the early nighties where Fujitsu proudly sponsored the Cambridge shirts.

“Fujitsu are very honoured to have rekindled our partnership with Cambridge United in the last few years and fully support the ethos of the club and the work they do in the local and surrounding community.”

Jeffery concluded: “Whilst the evening is a great opportunity for these companies, the match also provides an excellent platform to highlight the loyal support of our other key commercial partners Cambs Glass, Mick George, Sepura, Inc., Mundipharma, AstraZeneca, Premier Travel and Vindis.

“It should be a fantastic night.”
