2015/16 Player of the Season awards to take place post Plymouth
The presentation for Cambridge United’s 2015/16 Supporter’s Player of the Season award will take place on the first team pitch, following Saturday’s clash with Plymouth Argyle at the Abbey Stadium (K.O. 3:00pm).
The accolade will be awarded to player that U’s fans have nominated as the stand-out man of the campaign, alongside the Cambridge News Player of the Season and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire Player of the Season presentations, which will also take place after the final whistle.
The Amber Army have until 4pm on Friday to cast their vote for the player they feel deserves this season’s accolade, with eight players up for nomination. Meanwhile, the CFU Internet Player of the Year award, Cambridge 105 (Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Volunteer of the Year) awards, Supporters Club Player of the Year and Away Travel Club Player of the year will be presented in the Dion Dublin Bar post-match.
Supporters are encouraged to make their way into the public bar after the match to enjoy the presentations, with a cash bar facility available.
