Chester 0-0 U's

Cambridge United came away with a point from the Deva Stadium this afternoon.

On-loan Kwesi Appiah missed a penalty for the U's after 39 minutes, when Harrison Dunk was brought down in the area.

The first-half saw Tom Elliott and Luke Berry come close for United, with Chester 'keeper John Danby making a great point-blank save from Kwesi Appiah.

Chris Maxwell in the United goal made comfortable work of the home side's efforts.

The U's came out in the second-half looking to break the deadlock, forcing a number of corners in the early stages. United could have won another penalty on 56 minutes, after the ball appeared to strike the hand of Chester full-back, Michael Kay.

Nathan Arnold shot just wide after bursting through the Chester back-line ten minutes from time and Delano Sam-Yorke also came close for the U's with four minutes remaining, but the deadlock couldn't be broken.
