FULL TIME: CAMBRIDGE UNITED 1-4 WREXHAM
16.54: That's the full-time whistle, boos from the home crowd who have watched their team be completely dismantled by a experienced, confident Wrexham outfit. It's been a real men versus boys match, and Jez George has work to do if United are to get back to winning ways against Telford next week.
16.51: Three minutes to be added, someone please make it stop.
16.47: GOAL CAMBRIDGE UNITED 1-4 WREXHAM. Any thoughts of a late rally extinguished as DANNY WRIGHT bags his second. Ormerod's shot from the edge of the box is blocked, but the ball deflects into Wright's path, and with United appealing for offside he easily beats the exposed Hedge.
16.43: GOAL CAMBRIDGE UNITED 1-3 WREXHAM. Luke Berry does brilliantly to retrieve a long ball in the right corner, and is dumped to the ground by Ashton. That'll be a booking for the left-back, and a free kick to United. Jennings whips it in and JOSH COULSON gets in ahead of the keeper to plant a header in from close range.
16.39: Wrexham's final change sees Hunt replaced by another veteran, Glen Little. Gibson whips a dangerous ball into the box but Wrexham easily clear.
16.32: Vastly experienced striker Brett Ormerod is on for Wrexham in place of the excellent Cieslewicz, there's still 20 minutes to go here, I can't be the only one who wishes we were closer to full time.
16.29: Gibson on now for the U's, he's replaced Liam Hughes on the right flank. Wrexham have a corner and that somehow stays out, Riley wins the header, it deflects off a couple and is somehow kept out by a combination of the post, McAuley, and Hedge, who hangs on. It's been one way traffic so far in this second half.
16.23: Today's attendance is 2,304 with 274 happy Wrexham fans filling the South Stand. Changes for both sides, with Ogleby on for two-goal Morrell, and Smith arriving in place of Elliott for the U's. The crowd don't like that one little bit.
16.16: GOAL CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0-3 WREXHAM. Farcical defending from United and that wraps things up for the visitors. Danny Wright beats Hedge to a long ball and fizzes a cross into the unguarded six yard box. United appear to have the situation under control, but as they try to clear down the left MORRELL steals the ball, advances into the box before making a bit of space and smashing a shot into the net.
16.14: Wrexham rampant at the moment, Cieslewicz wriggles through down the right but his cross is put behind, and United repell the corner. United need to
16.09: The U's have a corner on the left, Jennings to the near post and Elliott climbs highest but flicks the ball over the crossbar.
16.08: GOAL CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0-2 WREXHAM. Just the start United didn't want to the second half, Morrell helps the ball on to DANNY WRIGHT, who easily evades a couple of lunging challenges and lashes the ball past Hedge. Uphill struggle for the U's now against a side who haven't conceded in four matches remember.
16.05: We're underway, and there's been a half-time change for the U's, Willmott replaced by Luke Berry and his skullcap.
HALF-TIME: CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0-1 WREXHAM
15.48: One minute to be added, after a good start from the U's Wrexham have looked the more assured, and it would be difficult to argue they don't deserve their lead. Indeed, there goes the whistle, advantage to the visitors at the break.
15.46: United back into life after the goal, with Willmott and Moke making promising runs down the flanks. However, both attacks peter out into nothing, United lacking cutting edge here, which is something the visitors have in abundance.
15.38: GOAL CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0-1 WREXHAM. Jennings concedes a free kick as Hunt bursts past him right on the edge of the box. Jennings will go in the book for that, the Newmarket Road End don't approve. Good position here, Keates to deliver, it's low and ANDY MORRELL finds some space to steer a low shot into the corner. Poor marking from United, who weren't switched on there, and the visitors player/manager punishes them.
15.33: Wrexham are working the overlap down their left really well at present, again Ashton gets beyond McAuley and it takes a fine header from Jennings to steal the ball off the the forehead of the waiting Wright. Morrell tries to keep the ball in on the far side but stumbles it into touch for a goal kick.
15.31: Better from United, Willmott and Hughes working the ball down the right and Hughesy's cross goes away off a defender for a corner. Moke's delivery isn't the best, but he gets the ball back, jinks into the area and sets up Wellard for a low shot which Mayebi holds at full stretch.
15.26: The visitors are building a head of steam, as Wright tries to tip toe into the box. The ball spins to Morrell whose shot deflects away for another corner. Again Keates is completely unmarked on the edge of the box, and this time decides to go for goal himself and thwacks an effort well over.
15.24: Another corner for the visitors, as Hunt's shot deflects away off Michael Wylde. Again it goes deep to Keates, who chips the ball in but Hunt's header is easy for Hedge.
15.23: Wrexham with a corner on their right, and work it intelligently across the edge of the box to Keates, then Cieslewicz, but his shot is blocked by Hughes, who does well to clear his lines.
15.19: Elliott muscles his way past Riley on the right and pulls the ball back for Hughes, but his shot is charged down. Lively start for United, the front four are linking up nicely, just lacking precision on the final ball at preent
15.18: Lovely ball from Keates inside McAuley for Ashton to chase, he advances into the box and stabs a cross-cum-shot across the six yard box which goes wide of the far post. Luckily it had too much pace on it for any of the strikers in the centre.
15.13: Twinkle toes again from Moke, who bursts past two. Although he's halted - legally says the ref - the ball runs to Elliott in the box, who tries a shot on the turn but it's deflected and snaffled up by Mayebi.
15.11: Moke skips past Walker but the referee pulls play back for a free kick. Walker's challenge was late and Moke wasn't going to keep the ball in, good position for a cross, which Jennings and Moke are plotting over. First ball in is cleared, but it's returned to Moke, who finds Jennings in space, but his cross is disappointing and into the side netting.
15.08: United don't deal with a long cross into the box, Morrell's effort blocked but the ball spins to Cieslewicz, who fortunately fires straight at Hedge who can block.
15.05: Intelligent flick from Elliott gets Moke away down the left. Sadly he runs out of pitch and can't get his cross in. Moke is on the left for United, with Willmott right and Hughes through the middle with Elliott.
15.03: United get us underway, attacking the South Stand.
15.00: Here come the teams, United in amber and black as per, Wrexham in red shirts and white shorts.
14.56: Today's referee is John Hopkins, assisted by Tony Goddard and Nolan Wilde. Wrexham visited Cambridge twice last season, and it ended all square on both occasions. We drew 2-2 in the FA Cup back in November, before the Dragons prevailed 2-1 in the replay. Then the league fixture in April ended 1-1, Rob Ogleby notching a last minute equaliser after Tom Shaw had put United ahead.
Cambridge United: Hedge, McAuley, Jennings, Coulson, Wylde, Moke, Willmott (Berry 45), Wellard, Jarvis, Hughes (Gibson 65), Elliott (Smith 63). Subs: Shaw, Gibson, Garner, Berry, Smith.
Wrexham: Mayebi, Walker, Ashton, Riley, Wright, Harris, Keates, Hunt (Little 79), Morrell (Ogleby 63), Wright, Cieslewicz (Ormerod 72) . Subs: Coughlin, Ormerod, Clarke, Ogleby, Little.
14.30: TEAM NEWS. The U's make one change, with Adriano Moke coming into the starting line-up at the expense of Luke Berry, who is on the bench. The visitors will probably line up in a 4-3-3 formation, and include former United front man Danny Wright in their starting XI.
14.15: Good afternoon and welcome to the R Costings Abbey Stadium for today's Blue Square Bet Premier clash between Cambridge United and Wrexham. Jez George's U's will be looking to halt a run of four games without a win, but to do so they will have to break through a Wrexham back line which hasn't conceded a goal for four games.
